The Slater City Council accepted a proposal for a new accounting firm to conduct this years audit during it meeting on Tuesday, December 18.

Mayor Dr. Steven Allegri said a yearly audit on the city is a good way to be transparent with the citizens of Slater. After further discussion, the council approved for Gerting, Korte, and Chitwood, CPA, of Boonville, to conduct the 2018 City Audit.
