A Norborne teen suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash in Ray County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 18-year-old Sevin Heins reportedly lost control of his northbound vehicle, and it skidded and traveled off the roadway, struck a tree, started rolling down an embankment, struck another tree and came to rest on its side in a field.
Heins, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Lexington E.M.S. to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment.
The crash happened at 4:20 p.m. on Missouri Highway 13 at the Missouri River Bridge.
