Saline County Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner thanked several county workers who cleared roadways and sidewalks after Mother Nature dropped multiple inches of snow in the area over this past weekend during the meeting of the county commission on Tuesday, January 15.

In other news, Fenner said the Saline County Century Farms Ceremony is scheduled for next week.

Commissioners also approved a $3,500 for the postage machine for Clerk Debbie Russell’s office; and an electronic transfer of more than $39,000 to the county’s CERF retirement account.
