Doris M. Koonse, age 92, of Pilot Grove, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pilot Grove.

A rosary will be held at 5 p.m., with visitation continuing until 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 8, at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.

The family suggests donations to St. Joseph Catholic School of Pilot Grove, in memory of Doris M. Koonse.

Surviving Doris are her five children: Steven Koonse (Jenny), of Leeton, Alan Koonse, of North Little Rock, Ark., Randall Koonse, of Trinidad, Co., Christie Koonse, of Denver, Co., and Julie Sturm (Bill), of Overland Park, Ks.; six grandchildren: April Koonse (James), of Beasley, Tx., Betty Koonse (Mike), of St. Louis, John Koonse (Hallie), of Olathe, Ks., Garrett Holtz (Emily), of Brooklyn, NY, Kris Sturm, of Overland Park, Ks., and Patrick Sturm, of Overland Park, Ks.; and great-granddaughter, Violet Koonse, of Beasley, Tx.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Koonse; her parents, Raymond and Grace Schuster Quinlan; infant brother, David Quinlan; brothers, Earl, of Marshall, and Wilbur Quinlan, of Sedalia.
