A Marshall man charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile is scheduled to be in court this week.
According to a probable-cause statement, 43-year-old Monoleto Ontario Morand is alleged to have solicited and attempted to engage in inappropriate sexual acts with a juvenile male on more than one occasion.
According to online court documents, Morand has been charged with two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree with a Victim Less Than 12 Years Old and two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy in the First Degree.
Morand, who pleaded not guilty in June, is scheduled to appear for a trial-setting hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, at Saline County Circuit Court.
