Employees at Van Meter State Park in Saline County are inviting the public to a meeting regarding volunteer work at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 21.
According a news release, attendees will learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities and share ideas for events and programs within the park, as well as fill out paperwork to officially become a part of the park team. Many events and programs take place at the park throughout the year, and volunteers play a crucial role in making the park a welcoming and fun place to visit.
A reservation to this meeting is encouraged, but is not required.
Van Meter State Park is 12 miles north of Marshall, located at 32146 North Highway 122 in Miami.
