Dorothy Lucille (Knox) Samuels, age 94, of Marshall, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, where visitation begins at 9 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Crossroads Hospice.

Survivors include four grandchildren: Tammy Palmer (Johnnie) of Marshall, John David Boyd (Ashleigh) of Columbia, Bob Samuels and Doug Samuels both of Slater; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charles Victor Knox and Emma Grace (Finley) Knox; and husband, Andrew Jackson Samuels, Sr.; Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Boyd; sons, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Samuels, Jr. and Lawrence Samuels; and seven siblings.
