A 20-year-old Marshall resident has been charged with felonies for allegedly illegally being in possession of a firearm on May 28.
According to a report from the Saline County Sheriff’s office, Corbin Lee Whitney was arrested for allegedly exhibiting the weapon in the 24600 block of 203rd Road.
Online court documents say Whitney has been charged with a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Exhibiting. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash only.
Whitney was arraigned on May 29. His counsel-status hearing is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, at Saline County Circuit Court.
