Walter E. Homfeld “Red”, 76, formerly of Higginsville, died June 13, 2019.  

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Salem United Church of Christ. Burial will be at the Salem Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Dora (Bergsieker) Homfeld; his wife, Mary; a brother, Ryland; and a sister, Delores Fricke; 2 grandchildren, Holly and Ryan.

 He is survived by:

Sister:             Mary Dickmeier (Hubert)                 of Corder

Grandchildren: Matt, Becky, Jake, Josh, Sarah, Lane, Cole, Desiree, Michael, Becky, Andrea

 16 Great Grandchildren 

Visitation will be Monday, June 17^th from 6:30-8:00 pm, at the Kaiser ~Wiegers Funeral Home

Memorials are suggested to Salem UCC or the Shriners Children’s Hospital
