A Higbee woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Boone County on Friday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 17-year-old McKenna Asmus, of Hallsville, reportedly exited a private driveway and entered the path of an eastbound vehicle, driven by 74-year-old Margaret Newberry.
While Asmus reportedly was not injured, Newberry was transported by E.M.S. to Boone Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 12:30 p.m. on Missouri Highway 124, east of Robinson Road.
