The Blackwater Fall Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 12.
Organizer Mary Ann Schuster says there are numerous things scheduled to take place during the daylong event.

Schuster said the weather is predicted to be a little cool in the morning, but should get warmer as the day goes. She said it should make for a good day to come check out Blackwater and a village just up the road which also is holding an event.
