The Salisbury R-4 School Board took an action to move forward with a construction project during its special meeting on October 9.

According to minutes from the meeting, Greg Goette from McKinstry presented the bid that was opened on October 4. Danny Henke moved to accept and approve the bid from Schwada Builders, Inc., and for Superintendent Troy Clawson to enter into a contract in the amount of $850,000 and add alternates/credit as presented for $9557 as the district’s general contractor for construction of the new Ag/Industrial Arts Building.

The motion was approved by a 5-0 vote.
