A Sugar Creek resident suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash in Lafayette County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 34-year-old Kevin Berry reportedly failed to negotiate a curve on his westbound Harley Davidson, which caused the bike to overturn and eject its occupants.
While Berry reportedly was not injured, a passenger on the bike- 33-year-old Jennifer Parolini- was transported by ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for treatment.
The crash happened at 3 p.m. on U.S. Highway 24 at Missouri Highway 131.
