Two Higginsville residents have been charged with felonies in connection with a reported burglary on November 12, 2019.
A probable-cause statement says the owner of the property gave a description of two persons who had been seen near the location on that day and their vehicle. The owner says numerous items were missing valued at a total of about $4,000.
An investigation, including footprints in the snow, led authorities to question and file charges against Lawan Malik Robison and Kerri Suzanne Gray.
Court documents say each has been charged with Class D Felonies for Burglary in the Second Degree and Stealing of $750 or More. Bond for each has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.
Gray entered a plea of not guilty during her arraignment on January 6. Her next hearing and Robison’s initial hearing are pending at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
