An arrest has been made in the December 28, 2019, armed robbery at a convenience store in Cooper County.
According to the Boonville Police Department, at about 1:30 a.m. an armed robbery occurred at Lucky’s Eagle Stop, located at 205 East Morgan Street.
Authorities say the alleged suspect 54-year-old Michael Lawrence Butler, of Boonville, was arrested on Friday, February 7.
Court documents say Butler has been charged with a Class A Felony for Robbery in the First Degree; a Class D Felony for Stealing of $750 or More; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond has been set at $75,000 cash or surety.
Butler’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
