At its meeting on Tuesday, February 18, the Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved a couple of action items.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson said the board approved readopting an ordinance regarding sales tax on domestic utility service.

Dobson also said aldermen gave the green light to a state block grant agreement involving new hangars at the airport.

Dobson explained this is just for the design and bidding portion of the project, not the actual construction cost of the hangars.
Dobson said there are several options, so it is not known at this time exactly how many hangars will be built.
