Sex-related felony charges involving a juvenile female have been filed against a 38-year-old Clinton man for an incident that allegedly happened more than a decade and a half ago.
According to a probable-cause statement, on January 30, 2020, the female told Cooper County authorities that in the fall of 2004, Troy Alan Douglas molested her when she was four years old. She described in explicit detail what happened inside a large dog house at a residence in Pilot Grove nearly 16 years ago.
A warrant has been issued and Douglas has been charged with two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree- Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Person Less Than 14 Years Old and a sex-related misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $30,000 cash or surety.
Douglas’ initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
