Just before noon on Friday, February 21, 2020 an individual in Marshall High School reported the sighting of a single bed bug.
Marshall Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Carol Maher sent out a news release stating a professional service was called in to inspect the areas in which the individual had been to ensure there was no infestation. After an investigation by school officials and pest control specialists, Marshall High School was found NOT to have additional bedbugs and NO eggs.
The building will be cleaned and sprayed before school on Monday. At this time, no students have been associated with bedbugs. Precautionary measures will continue.
