A 53-year-old Chilhowee woman is facing a drug-related felony charge in Johnson County.

On Friday, February 21, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Warrensburg Police Department Joint Special Weapons and Tactics Team executed a narcotics-related search warrant in the 100 block West Cedar Street in Chilhowee.

The sheriff’s department says during the investigation, Kelly R. Butler was arrested and has been charged with a Class B Felony for Trafficking Drugs in the Second Degree and a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Butler is being held at the Johnson County jail on $15,000 cash-only bond.

Butler’s was in custody during her hearing on Wednesday, February 26. A Case Review in this case is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 at Johnson County Circuit Court.
