Three Pettis County residents suffered injuries in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Morgan County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an ATV, driven by 57-year-old Linda Sanders, of Sedalia, was traveling through a field and struck a tree.
Sanders was transported by ambulance and a 10-year-old girl, of Smithton, who was a passenger on the ATV, was flown by MU Air Care helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. Another passenger- a 7-year-old girl, of Smithton- was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash happened at 2:25 p.m. in a private field off of U.S. Highway 50- approximately one mile east of Morgan County Drive.
