Larry D. Simmons, age 72, of Marshall, died Lord Saturday, April 25, 2020.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Preferred Hospice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com
In addition to his wife, Brenda, Larry is survived by nine children: Dawn Shahid (Mike Kunz) of St. Cloud, FL, Tina Brown (Scott) of Macon, MS, Michael D. Simmons (Tammy) of Blue Springs, MO, Camaren Hampton (Roosevelt) of Kansas City, MO, William Daniel Barber (Becky) of Marshall,  Duane Michael Simmons (Kristina) of Sugar Creek, MO, Katelyn Jobeth McCollum (Wes) of Huntington Beach, CA, Cheyenne Cherry Simmons (Tyler Swift) of Marshall and Talor Kane Simmons of Kansas City, MO; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Simmons (Bobby) of Independence, MO and Mark Simmons (Kim) of Oak Grove, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dorn Duane Simmons and Geraldine Mae Bartberger Simmons, Larry was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann Stafford.
