A 52-year-old Windsor woman suffered serious injuries in an accident in Johnson County on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as a northbound truck pulling a trailer, driven by 57-year-old Kenneth Williams, of Windsor, was traveling out of a gated area, while Candilynn Schnakenberg was holding the gate open. The trailer of the vehicle struck Schnakenberg, causing her to fall, and the truck ran over her leg.
Schnakenberg was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment. Williams was not injured.
The accident happened at 11:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of Southeast State Route WW.
