The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is making its annual ongoing sulfur dioxide data requirements rule report available for a 30-day public comment period.
A news release says pursuant to 40 CFR 51.1205, the report assesses current actual sulfur dioxide emission levels at sources in areas of the state that were designated attainment of the 2010 sulfur dioxide standard based on modeling analyses. The report also includes recommendations as to whether additional modeling is needed for any of these areas to determine their ongoing attainment status.
The department will accept public comments on the report through June 15, 2020.
