The 8th Judicial Circuit Court began operating Phase 3 of the “Show Me Strong Recovery” Plan over the weekend.
A notice from the office of Circuit Judge Kevin Walden says although court proceedings have resumed, there are still restrictions to persons entering the building and attending court proceedings.
A few of the provisions include:
Any person who has traveled outside of the country within the last 14 days prior to arriving at the courthouse, or persons that have been in close contact with someone who has will not be able to enter the facilities of any of the Divisions of the Circuit Courts of Ray or Carroll county. Also, anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been asked to self-quarantine, had close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with the virus will not be able to enter the facilities.
Persons entering the facility may be subject to appropriate levels of screening such as temperature checks and screening questions.
Strict social distancing guidelines of six-foot distances between persons will be oberserved at all times.
All persons entering the Court premises will also be required to use hand sanitizer and use appropriate face coverings.
