Increased safety measures and a recent influx of customers coming back to the DMV – have created longer waits. State Revenue Director Ken Zellers says the department is making some changes.

The state department of revenue is now issuing a new style of driver’s license, according to Zellers.

If someone wants the new card before its renewal time, they can pay the fee to get it.
