Families and youth gathered in Marshall for the kickoff events of this year’s Saline County Fair, beginning with a weekend of presentations and shooting sports.
A news release says on Saturday, activities began at the Saline County Fairgrounds with fashion revue, public speaking and demonstrations.

Both Saturday and Sunday, 4-H Shooting Sports held rounds of archery, rifle, pistol and shotgun competitions.
All Shooting Sports results will be announced Tuesday, July 14.
The Saline County Fair continues throughout the week with a variety of livestock shows, including: horse on Monday evening; goats and sheep on Wednesday; rabbits, poultry and swine on Thursday; and cattle on Friday.
