A couple of important announcements were made during the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, July 20.
Ward 1 Councilman Leon Thompson’s announcement involved Municipal Court cases.

Ward 3 Councilman Charlie Guthrey encouraged residents to make sure they are registered to vote.

In other news from the meeting, the appointment of Robin Baker to the Marshall Park Board was approved. The appointment of Terry Townsend Sr. to the board was tabled until a future meeting.
