Five more positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by health officials in Cooper County on Thursday, July 30.
According to the Cooper County Public Health Center, the total number of positive cases is now 97 since the beginning of the pandemic.
With 74 positive cases released from observation, 23 cases remain active in the county. The one positive COVID-19 patient who was hospitalized was released on Thursday.
Of the total number of positive cases, 88 are through community transmission and nine are travel-related .
Congregate-living cases number 41 and are included in the total case numbers and community transmissions.
The Cooper County Public Health Center strongly encourages all citizens to wear a mask in public places.
