Up by nearly 1,500 more positive cases of COVID-19, the state’s total was more than 65,000 as of 2 p.m. Friday, August 14.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number of positive cases was 65,270- up from 63,796 on Thursday, August 13.

The number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by 10 from 1,325 on Thursday to 1,335 on Friday.

DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.
