The numbers of positive COVID-19 cases continue to rise in several counties in the KMMO listening area.

On Saturday, September 12, three new cases reported in Carroll County, increasing the total to 109. With 98 positive patients recovered, there are 11 active cases.

In Cooper County, two positives were added on Saturday, increasing its total to 342. With 262 recovered and three deaths, 77 cases remain active.

Saturday’s numbers in Howard County say four new positive cases were added, increasing its total to 227. With 11 positive patients were removed from the active list- raising that total to 168- and one death, 58 active cases remain.

Five new positive cases were confirmed in Lafayette County on Saturday, raising its total to 314. With 230 positive patients recovered and three deaths, there are 81 active cases.

The Chariton County Health Center announced that two of the active cases of COVID-19 in the county were released from public health isolation on Saturday. With 51 of the positive patients recovered, nine of the 60 positive patients remain active.

As of Friday, September 11, in Saline County, the total number of positive cases was 619. With 531 recovered and nine deaths, there were 79 active cases, including three persons hospitalized, at that time.

Through Friday, 860 positive tests had been confirmed in Pettis County. With 725 positive patients recovered and 10 deaths, there were 125 active cases, including four persons hospitalized at that time.
