Some area counties updated COVID-19 case information on Sunday, September 13.

According to health-department officials, in Lafayette County, seven new positive cases were reported. The overall total is 321 positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic. According to numbers on Saturday, 230 positive patients had recovered. With three deaths and the new total positive case count, there are 88 active cases.

Six new positive cases were reported in Cooper County, raising its total to 348. With 277 recoveries and three deaths, there are 68 active cases, including two persons hospitalized. The number of total positive cases breaks down as 112 inmates and 233 Cooper County residents. There are 11 travel-related positives, and 337 are through community transmission. Sixteen positive cases are attributed to nursing and/or assisted-living facilities.

One new positive case was confirmed in Chariton County, raising its total to 61. With 51 positive patients recovered, there are 10 active cases.

As of Saturday, September 12, Carroll County had a total of 109 positive tests. With 98 positive patients recovered, there were 11 active cases.

In Howard County, the total of positive cases was 227. With 11 positive patients removed from the active list- raising that total to 168- and one death, 58 active cases remained.

As of Friday, September 11, in Saline County, the total number of positive cases was 619. With 531 recovered and nine deaths, there were 79 active cases, including three persons hospitalized.

Through Friday, 860 positive tests had been confirmed in Pettis County. With 725 positive patients recovered and 10 deaths, there were 125 active cases, including four persons hospitalized.
