Money was approved to be spent for work at the sewer plant and for new computers during the meeting of the Slater City Council this week.

City Administrator Gene Griffith explained the work at the sewer plant.

Griffith said the computers at city hall are old and need to be replaced.

Griffith says this will be for the server and four terminals at city hall.

Griffith also said tree trimming by the city will begin around November 1 in the eastern part of the town working toward Main Street.
