Lafayette County reported a significant increase in the number of positive cases of COVID-19.

The Lafayette County Health Department reported 38 new cases on Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 408 for Lafayette County. With 19 recovered, there are currently 131 active cases. Twenty-one of the most recent cases were Lutheran Good Shephard Residents the other 17 reported on Friday were community cases.

About 20% of the county population has been tested.
