A 36-year-old Sedalia man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly sexually abusing three children in the past few years.

During separate interviews with a child-safe investigator on May 21, the children described in explicit detail of the acts by John Wayne Archambault, who used to live with them.

The events described happened in the past as the children do not live now where they did then. Investigators found calls that showed that Archambault lived at that address from 2015-18.

Archambault acknowledged he did live at the residence while the three kids were there but denied the accusations. Archambault was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Archambault has been charged with two counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree and a misdemeanor for furnishing pornographic material or attempt to a minor. The judge has ordered no bond.

This case was bound over to the trial division for arraignment in July. Archambault waived his formal arraignment on July 20 and entered a plea of not guilty. A Hearing is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 21 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
