A court proceeding in the case of a Marshall man facing felony charges after an alleged assault to a farm hand back in February has been rescheduled.

During the morning hours of February 28, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in regards to an assault that had taken place on a farm facility just south of Marshall Junction where the victim reportedly suffered fractures and facial trauma as a result of the assault at the hands of 42-year-old Aaron Smith.

Smith has been charged with a Class B Felony for Assault in the First Degree.

A Plea/Trial Setting in this case has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. on Monday, December 28 at Saline County Circuit Court.
