
With an increase of more than 1,300 on Thursday, September 24, the state’s total of positive COVID-19 cases is now more than 118,000 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports the total increased by 1,365 from 116,946 on Wednesday, September 23, to 118,311 on Thursday.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by five from 1,947 on Wednesday to 1,952 on Thursday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.
DHSS says the next update is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 25.
