Parents, Families and Guardians, if you have been contacted by your local school district that your child has been considered a close contact with a recently diagnosed COVID-19 case, Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer says her office is doing their best to get a hold of you. She had this message to parents.

She says parents or guardians should text the number provided and not call. When speaking with a health department staff member, you will need to provide the child’s name, grade, school district, and if known the positive contact. Brewer says there is some information that will be shared with you when they contact your family.

In order to keep everyone safe and informed, the Saline County Health Department will provide KMMO up to date information as it develops.
