Recoveries outnumbered confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in an area county over the weekend.

According to the Saline County Health Department, seven new positive cases were confirmed on Saturday, September 26, and nine on Sunday, September 27. The 16 new positive cases raise the county’s total to 771 since the beginning of the pandemic. However, 21 positive patients recovered in that same time frame, raising that total to 653. With 12 deaths, there are 106 active cases, including three persons hospitalized.
