Some roadwork is scheduled to continue this week in Carroll County.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, flood repair on U.S. Highway 24- from the Moss Creek Bridge to the Missouri River Bridge- is scheduled to take place through October. The shoulders in this section will be closed for the duration of the project. Through October 6, one lane of U.S. Highway 24 in the same four-mile section will be closed for shoulder widening and pavement marking. Temporary signals will be in place to guide motorist through the work zone.

All work is weather permitting.

In addition, some roadways remain closed.

Route Z- from Route C to County Road 217- is closed until further notice due to damage caused by a roadway slide.

Route Z also is closed through mid December for a bridge-replacement project over Tater Hill Creek, 1.1 miles west of U.S. Highway 65.

Route C is closed for a culvert-replacement project at the Branch of Turkey Creek Bridge through early November.
