A 71-year-old Carrollton man was killed in a rollover freightliner crash in Carroll County on Tuesday.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as an eastbound fuel tanker traveled off the right side of the roadway, and Larry Edwards overcorrected the freightliner, which caused the vehicle to travel onto the left shoulder and overturn.

Edwards, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at 5:25 p.m. on the scene by a doctor.

The crash happened at 5:05 p.m. on Route E at Route OO.
