A safe and fun event geared for children will be held Wednesday, October 28, in Marshall.

The Marshall Chamber of Commerce, Marshall Police Department and the Marshall Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up to host on a drive-thru “Trick-or-Treat” event at Indian Foothills Park.

Phyllis Rector with the Chamber gives some of the details on what people with kids need to do.

Rector says there will be parking available for the persons and/or businesses handing out treats to the ‘Trick-or-Treaters.”

The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. or until those handing out treats run out of supplies.

Patrons are asked to stay in their vehicles, and the persons handing out the treats will come to them.
