Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are scheduled to replace a culvert pipe on Route V, west of Armstrong, in Howard County next week.

A news release says for the safety of travelers and workers on the road, Route V is scheduled to be closed in both directions between County Roads 263 and 265 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4.

Message boards will be in place to warn motorists in advance of the closure.

Drivers will need to seek an alternate route around the work area.
