Darlene Beasley, age 81, of Marshall, died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at The Living Center in Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, Darlene requested that memorials be made to Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Home Health or Hospice or Saline Animal League, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born October 27, 1939 in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Randolph H. Beasley and Bessie Mae Griffitt Beasley. Darlene lived in Marshall her entire life and worked for nearly 40 years at the Saline County Rest Home. After she retired, she continued her passion of caring for people in their home.

Survivors include three siblings: Betty Bodenstab of Jefferson City, John Richard Beasley and Randall Beasley, both of Marshall; several nieces, nephews and their families, including Ross Cowart (Lisa) of Indian Trail, NC and Justin Cowart (JoAnna) of Marshall, whom she helped her sister, Linda Cowart, raise. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Dixie.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Cowart.
