
Wilbert Garrison, 83, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, November 6, 2020, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 12, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Born September 7, 1937, in Urbana, MO, he was the son of the late Jesse Garrison and Florence Hollingsworth Garrison. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. On October 25, 1958, he married Shirley Stogsdill who survives of the home. He lived in Marshall since 1945 moving from Urbana and retired in 2000 from Wilson Foods after 27 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; one son, Travis G. Garrison (Lori) of Kansas City, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer and Claude Garrison; and four sisters, Truma Turner, Fern Greenfield, Loda Dilliman and Goldleva Bradshaw.
