A Higginsville man was seriously injured after being partially ejected from his vehicle Thursday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as the eastbound vehicle driven by 23-year-old Hunter Goring traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and came to rest on its side in the ditch. Goring sustained serious injuries after he was partially ejected out of the vehicle. He was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by Higginsville EMS for treatment.

The crash happened at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Eastwood, just north of Davis Road in Lafayette County.
