
Due to high winds and low humidity, Saline County Emergency Management Agency Director Tony Day has issued a Burn Advisory for Saline County for Thursday, November 19.
Burning of any kind is not recommended.
According to the National Weather service, a Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Cooper, Howard, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline counties.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, the Marshall Fire Department was called out to an 80-acre natural cover fire.
