A 75-year-old Malta Bend man was seriously injured in a traffic crash on Thursday in Saline County.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a southeast bound vehicle, driven by 70-year-old Betty Kelso, of Malta Bend, traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.

While the driver was not injured, Russell Kelso was transported by Saline County E.M.S. to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.

The crash happened at 4:50 p.m. on Route D at Route P.
