Area fire fighters were dispatched to put out a blaze on Sunday, December 13.

According to a Marshall Fire Department spokesperson, fire fighters were toned out at 10:39 a.m. and arrived on the scene in the 36100 block of North Highway 41 in Miami at 10:55 a.m. They had the fire under control at 11:02 a.m.

The shed that contained a wood stove suffered damage estimated at $10,000.

Fire fighters were back in quarters at noon, and there were no injuries.
