
Another COVID-19-related death was reported in the KMMO listening area over the weekend.
According to the Saline County Dashboard, as of 10 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, the death raises the total to 39 in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
In all, there were 19 new positive cases of the virus confirmed, raising the county’s total to 1,971. With 1,809 previously positive patients released from public health isolation as recovered and 39 deaths, there are 123 active cases in the county.
No new positive cases were reported in Chariton County on Sunday, leaving its total at 532. However, there were seven positive patients released as recovered, upping that total to 427, and with 12 COVID-19-related deaths, there are 93 active cases in the county.
Updates were not available from Carroll, Cooper, Howard, Lafayette and Pettis Counties.
