Charles Glenn Steinkuhler, age 91, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS.

Private family services will be held. Friends may come by Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, to sign the register book and pay their respects. Born December 9, 1929, in Dunksburg, MO, he was the son of the late John H. Steinkuhler and Flora Miller Steinkuhler. On August 8, 1953, he married Helen Louise Shay who preceded him in death on February 10, 2018. He lived in the Sweet Springs area his entire life and retired in 1983 from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service, and was a carpenter. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include three children, Randy Steinkuhler (Pat) of rural Sweet Springs, Chuck Steinkuhler (Diane) of Sweet Springs and Vickie Akeman of rural Sweet Springs; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Greg Steinkuhler; a son-in-law, Monroe Akeman; five sisters; and two brothers.
